Signals Are Patterns

Interest is not proven by one emoji, one quick reply, or one nice sentence. Look for repeated engagement over time.

Useful signals include asking you questions, adding details, making time, suggesting alternatives, and showing comfort with the pace.

Respect the Exit

A boundary is information, not a challenge. If she says no, stops replying, or avoids making time repeatedly, you do not need a closing argument.

A clean exit protects your confidence and her comfort. It is part of skill, not a failure.

Realistic example

Read the situation before choosing the move

Busy or Not Interested

Situation
She cancels once but offers another day. Later she cancels twice with no alternative.
Common mistake
Keep asking until she gives a clear explanation.
Better move
Step back. If she wants to reconnect, she can. Put your energy back into your life and other conversations.
Why it works
The first case may be a real scheduling issue. The repeated pattern without alternatives is low engagement.

Action checklist

  • You are judging behavior over time.
  • You can name the difference between low engagement and a clear boundary.
  • You do not try to negotiate someone into interest.
